Darcy Schrieber
State General Agent (SGA)
Darcy joined American Income Life in 2010 after retiring from a career in education as a high school principal. AIL offered the unlimited opportunity he was looking for with his family in a career. Within the first few months, He moved into the leadership ranks and began growing in the company. The most attractive part of his career is working with the people, while serving them as they strive to hit their personal goals. Continual leadership development and mentoring is the key to a thriving organization and he is proud to play a role with how people grow in the company.
He has been married to his wife, Amanda, for twenty-one years now and they have three children. He serves as an Elder in his church where he and his family serve and worship.
Steven King
Regional General Agent (RGA)
Steven left the automotive industry and began with AIL in 2004. He quickly realized this company would allow you to advance very quickly, if you were not afraid of hard work. After fifteen months he had been promoted six times and ultimately promoted to a senior executive position.
After six months into his new position he had built the largest team in our Troy, Michigan location. With that success He was offered his own office in Lansing, MI. In Lansing, his teams success continued to where he had the opportunity to lead a team and open offices in Grand Rapids, MI and South Bend, IN. After almost sixteen years in the business, Steven’s teams continue to deliver internationally recognized results.
George Shiefiek
Master General Agent (MGA)
George started his journey with AIL in Columbus, Ohio in 2014 after graduating from The Ohio State University. He received his Bachelor of Science & minor in microbiology, but always had the entrepreneurial mindset to become a business owner. He was personally recruited by a friend from church to check out an amazing life changing opportunity.
George took a leap of faith to move to Troy, Michigan in August of 2017 where he joined forces with his former MGA. George started off as an SA and has worked his way up to become an MGA. He’s been recognized as a top leader within the agency over the last four years.
Outside of work George enjoys traveling, quality time with his wife, family & friends and loves to watch and play all sports.
Mickey Adkins
Master General Agent (MGA)
Mickey started with the company in November of 2013. He left the labor field making $28 an hour to come work in insurance, 100% performance and never looked back. He moved and built dominating teams in Troy, Ann Arbor and now runs his own office in Monroe. His next goal is to promote a few MGAs and help others reach the success that he has reached in his career.
When he not working he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and close family.
Aaron Patt
Master General Agent (MGA)
Before working at American income life, Aaron worked in restaurants and bars serving tables and managing while working on his degree in biology and chemistry at Grand Valley State University. His goal was to attend vet school but was fortunate enough to come across American Income Life and he begin my career here in 2016.
Aaron has worked in all of our locations beginning with the Grand Rapids office, followed by Ann Arbor and Troy, ultimately landing himself in the Lansing office where he is currently working
While he not working, he enjoys spending my time with my beautiful wife and 2 children.
